CySEC Warns Against 10 Unlicensed Investment Firms Targeting Traders

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has issued a new warning against ten unauthorized investment websites found to be offering financial services without regulatory approval. The regulator cautioned investors that these entities are not licensed under Cypriot law to provide investment services or carry out investment activities.

List of Unauthorized Domains

According to the CySEC announcement, the following websites have been flagged:

  • amazon-forex.com
  • novatradecore.com
  • vall-fin.com
  • daoroyal.com
  • capitaldealhub.com/AI_app_es
  • digiteamagency.com/second-income/
  • seamanfx.com
  • newfuturevip.com
  • trademarketcup.com
  • fxtrade.app
  • mexc.com

CySEC emphasized that these sites do not belong to any authorized investment firm and are therefore operating illegally under Article 5 of Law 87(I)/2017, which governs the provision of investment services and activities within Cyprus.

CySEC Urges Investors to Verify Licenses

The regulator reiterated its call for investors to verify a company’s regulatory status before transferring funds or opening trading accounts. Investors can confirm whether a firm is authorized by checking the CySEC public register on its official website at www.cysec.gov.cy.

CySEC also reminded traders that working with unlicensed platforms exposes them to significant risks, including the loss of funds and the lack of access to dispute resolution or compensation mechanisms.

Ongoing Regulatory Crackdown

The warning is part of CySEC’s broader effort to combat online investment scams and unauthorized platforms targeting retail traders across Europe. In recent months, the regulator has stepped up enforcement and increased public advisories amid a surge in cross-border fraud and impersonation scams.
