EC Markets Opens New Office in Mauritius to Strengthen Regional Support
Multi-regulated forex and CFD broker EC Markets has expanded its global presence with the launch of a new office in Ebene, Mauritius—a financial hub known for its growing fintech infrastructure and regulatory framework. The new location is intended to provide more localized support for clients across Africa and surrounding regions, the firm announced on LinkedIn.
This move follows the recent opening of another office in Limassol, Cyprus, strengthening EC Markets’ footprint in Europe. According to the company, its presence in Cyprus enhances accessibility for European clients and demonstrates a commitment to deepening engagement across international markets.
MetaTrader Access and Multi-Asset Offering
EC Markets offers trading services through the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms, with access to a broad range of instruments including forex, gold, indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies, and contracts for difference (CFDs).
The expansion comes amid a broader rebranding initiative launched to mark the firm’s 12th anniversary. As part of this milestone, EC Markets has unveiled a new logo, signaling its focus on innovation and evolving trader expectations.
Further Growth with Dubai Office and UAE License
The Mauritius and Cyprus launches are part of a wider global strategy. EC Markets is also opening new offices in Dubai, and continues to operate from its headquarters in London. Notably, the broker recently secured a Category 5 license from the UAE’s Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), enabling it to introduce clients, market services, and offer financial consultancy in the region.
EC Markets now operates under licenses from multiple major regulators, including the FCA (UK), ASIC (Australia), FSCA (South Africa), FMA, FSA (Seychelles), and FSC (Mauritius).
