Strifor Minimum Deposit
Strifor offers four types of accounts – Basic, Advanced, Professional and Islamic. The broker states that it does not set a minimum deposit for a Basic account, but the deposit menu requires a minimum of 20 USDT. The minimum deposit for the other three account types is extremely high – 10,000, 20,000 and 2,000, presumably USD. These amounts far exceed what is customary in the industry and cannot be justified by the terms offered by Strifor.

Forex trading involves significant risk, especially given the use of leverage, which can amplify both gains and losses. Starting with a smaller initial investment helps manage risk by limiting potential losses. New traders can experiment and learn the mechanics of trading without the stress of risking a large sum of money. This is crucial in forex markets, where volatility can lead to rapid changes in value. For beginners, the learning curve in forex trading can be steep. Starting with smaller amounts allows traders to gain practical experience without facing devastating losses. Mistakes are part of the learning process, and it’s financially safer to make them with smaller amounts.
Low minimum deposits also enable traders to test different forex brokers’ platforms, services, and customer support without committing a significant amount of money. This can be essential for traders deciding which broker best fits their trading style and needs. Traders with limited funds can choose to diversify their investment across different financial instruments rather than putting all their capital into one. This spreads the risk and can potentially reduce the volatility of their investment portfolio. Trading with amounts that are within one’s comfort zone reduces the psychological stress associated with the potential loss. This can lead to better decision-making and improved trading discipline.
Strifor differs from the usual forex brokers on many parameters. Payment methods through which you can deposit and withdraw funds to one of them. This broker only allows cryptocurrency transactions. While many brokers, especially offshore ones, allow deposits and withdrawals via cryptocurrencies, clients also usually have a wide choice of conventional methods – credit/debit cards, international and local bank transfers, e-wallets such as PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and locally specific payment processors.
The minimum deposit and withdrawal amount from this broker is 20 USDT or equivalent in another virtual currency.

An offshore forex broker that only allows deposits and withdrawals via cryptocurrencies offers a unique set of advantages and disadvantages that traders need to consider carefully. One of the key advantages is the speed and efficiency of cryptocurrency transactions. Deposits and withdrawals are often processed much faster than traditional banking methods, enabling traders to fund their accounts or access their profits almost instantly. Additionally, cryptocurrencies offer a high degree of accessibility, particularly for traders in regions where conventional payment methods may be restricted or where local banking systems are underdeveloped. The decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies can also provide a layer of privacy, as these transactions do not require personal banking details to be shared.
Moreover, using cryptocurrencies can eliminate the need for currency conversions in international transactions, as traders can deposit and withdraw funds in a digital currency that is universally recognized, potentially saving on exchange fees. This can be particularly advantageous for traders dealing in large volumes or those who wish to avoid high costs associated with traditional cross-border payments. Another advantage is that cryptocurrencies operate outside the purview of traditional financial institutions, offering a degree of independence from the regulatory constraints that might apply to fiat currencies.
However, the exclusive reliance on cryptocurrencies for deposits and withdrawals comes with significant disadvantages. The most notable concern is the volatility of cryptocurrency values, which can lead to fluctuations in the value of funds deposited or withdrawn. This means that traders may face unexpected losses or gains unrelated to their actual trading performance. Additionally, the lack of chargeback options or dispute mechanisms with cryptocurrencies can leave traders vulnerable if the broker engages in unethical practices or if there are transaction errors.
Regulatory concerns also play a role, as many offshore brokers that accept only cryptocurrencies may operate with limited oversight. This raises questions about the security of funds and the transparency of the broker’s operations. Traders may have little recourse if the broker fails to honor withdrawal requests or engages in fraudulent behavior. Furthermore, the anonymity associated with cryptocurrencies, while a potential advantage, can also make it challenging to establish trust, as it may attract brokers with less reputable business practices.
Another disadvantage is the learning curve and technical knowledge required to use cryptocurrencies. Traders unfamiliar with digital wallets, private keys, or blockchain technology may find the process of managing cryptocurrency transactions cumbersome and prone to errors. Additionally, regulatory uncertainty surrounding cryptocurrencies in many jurisdictions can pose legal risks for traders, as some countries have restrictions or outright bans on the use of digital currencies.
In conclusion, while an offshore forex broker that only accepts cryptocurrency transactions can offer benefits such as speed, accessibility, and lower transaction costs, the disadvantages—including market volatility, lack of regulatory oversight, limited recourse in disputes, and the technical complexity of cryptocurrencies—pose significant challenges. Traders considering such brokers must carefully weigh these factors, ensure they fully understand cryptocurrency operations, and assess the reputation and reliability of the broker before committing funds.
All account types offered by Strifor use a standard lot size of 100,000 currency units. The minimum order size is 0.01 lots or 1000 currency units. With a maximum leverage of 1:500, placing a minimum order requires an available capital of 2 USD. In comparison, retail clients of regulated brokers in the EU and Australia can leverage up to 1:30, which means they need 34 USD in their balance sheet to place the same minimum order.
Trading forex in smaller lot sizes helps to minimize financial risk per trade, making losses on individual trades more manageable and less impactful on the overall account balance. This approach is especially valuable for beginners who are still navigating market fluctuations and developing their risk management skills. With smaller trades, traders can refine their risk strategies by adjusting trade sizes based on the volatility of specific currency pairs or upcoming economic events, allowing for greater control over each trade’s exposure.
Using smaller lot sizes also provides new traders with real-market experience without the pressure or potential large losses associated with bigger trades. This hands-on experience is essential for understanding market dynamics, testing strategies, and building confidence while risking only modest amounts of capital. Additionally, traders with mini or micro lots have the flexibility to diversify their strategies by trading across multiple markets and positions. This enables them to execute several trades at once, distributing risk across different instruments and avoiding over-concentration in any single position.
As this broker does not have its own mobile app, depositing and withdrawing funds can only be done via the dashboard on the website. Unlike regulated and most offshore brokers, Strifor does not require you to have verified your identity before depositing.

After logging into the dashboard, click the Funds tab in the main menu. Select Deposit from the drop-down menu. In the menu that opens, you must first select the crypto wallet you will deposit funds into. Then select a currency. Another menu will appear where you need to select a payment method. In practice, in the last two fields you have only one option depending on the cryptocurrency used.
Then an option will appear to enter an amount to deposit. Once you have done that click Send Request. Then the address of the crypto wallet you need to make the transfer to will appear. Copy the wallet number that appears or scan the QR code.
